Where Willpower Fails, Systems Succeed

Willpower is unreliable under sustained pressure. This is not a personal shortcoming; it is a biological and cognitive reality. Willpower draws on finite mental energy, which depletes throughout the day as decisions, stress, and uncertainty accumulate.
